GUIDE TO YOUR TICKET HOME
As a designer navigating between cultures, I created 'Guide to Your Ticket Home' to challenge how we think about belonging in today's world. I transform the familiar self-help book format into something unexpected – combining batik artworks, interactive exercises, and personal narratives to help others map their own journey home. By weaving together traditional Indonesian batik techniques with contemporary design, I invite readers to explore their complex relationships with cultural identity, memory, and place.
The guide moves beyond simple exercises – it's a companion for anyone questioning where they belong. Through carefully crafted prompts about memory, emotions, and personal values, I guide readers to uncover their own definition of home. This isn't just about finding a physical place; it's about understanding how our heritage shapes who we are and how we navigate our daily lives.
